23rd April 2015 - my first full day in Los Angeles. From my hotel, I could see the intersection of West Century Boulevard and South La Cienega Boulevard (which dramatically changed from night to day in the amount of traffic). The concierge in the hotel told me that a bus from just passed that junction would take me to the California Science Centre which housed the Space Shuttle, Endeavour. I decided to leave my DSLR safely in my hotel room and so armed only with my trusty Canon PowerShot, I set out. The bus driver was so helpful and explained where I needed to change bus, which bus to change to and advised me to make sure I visited the Rose Gardens whilst I was there. The weather wasn't fantastic, but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and recommend anyone in Los Angeles to go. In the evening, I decided to make my way, by bus again, to Venice Beach to catch the sunset. I didn't anticipate the Los Angeles evening traffic and only just made it to the beach to see the last of the sun's rays. Well worth it though.
